Jonesy’s review: Great everyday house red, very popular with all my friends. Brilliant value for money! Try it, it’s a lovely wine. x

Wine making: The fermentation takes place in contact with the skins in steel containers for 5-6 days thanks to the action of indigenous yeasts. During the winter malo-lacticfermentation takes place thanks to the lactic bacteria naturally present in the wine. From here the wine rests for about a year at 16-18° C in steel tanks.

Tasting notes: The colours is deep ruby red. It presents intense and pleasant aromas of blackberry, raspberry, black cherry, plum, blueberry and violet. On the palate it is warm, soft, savoury, with intense sensations of black cherry and ripe blackberries; has a considerable persistence with soft and velvety tannins, it is very balanced and harmonious.

Fresh, fruity, elegant and refined, it shows surprisingly mature despite its youth. the non-use of selected yeasts enhances the taste of true Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. One glass leads to another.
