TORRE RAONE VINEYARD

A Father and son business, the farm "Tenuta Torre Raone" is located in Abruzzo, on the sunny hills of Loreto Aprutino, on the borders of the Gran Sasso National Park and Monti della Laga in the neighbourhood of the Natural Oasis Lake of Penne.

The Estate has 35 cultivated hectares under the Organic Farming Certified ICEA, on land particularly suited and able to enhance the organoleptic characteristics of the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.

At the centre of the estate stands a fortress that dominates the surrounding area, called Torre Raone. The winery was built in 2006 and has a current production of more or less 100,000 bottles sold in Italy and abroad.

Vigneti Zanatta VINEYARD

Sardinia, steeped in tradition and culture. Gallura is a region in Sardinia known for its granite rocks that are shaped by the wind, the rain and the sea, where most of the land is relatively infertile and barren. Towards the north, however, there are extensive areas covered with vineyards. It was here that in 1975 Bruno Zanatta, a young enologist from Treviso, started out on his career, acquiring in-depth knowledge of the terrain and of Sardinian soil. Thirty years on, his passion remains the same but with his son Marco working alongside him he now has what can be considered a true family-run enterprise owning more than 100 hectares of land. He purchased his first 16 hectares in 2003 in a hilly area 300 metres above sea level, where he planted the vine varieties Vermentino and Cannonau. In 2005 he again purchased land in the Gallura region and more specifically in the municipality of Olbia. This time there were 90 hectares to which he patiently devoted loving care year after year until more than 60 hectares had been planted and it was here that he concentrated his real production of Vermentino di Gallura DOCG and Cannonau di Sardegna DOC. Finally in 2008 it was possible to oversee the complete production cycle when the winery was built.

TENUTE CAMATE VINEYARD

Veneto is where Bruno Zanatta is originally from, starting out as a young enologist in 1975. The winery was built in 2008 and he oversaw the complete production cycle from then. Lands that had belonged to the family for generations were planted with Prosecco DOC and Pinot Grigio DOC Piave vines and, as in Gallura, small winery facilities were built. Unflagging daily commitment drawing on years of experience and professionalism is a key feature of this winery which offers fine wines: it all goes to show how two apparently distant lands can unite to create a winemaking tradition of excellence.
